RCA and Sporting battled until the end for the three points in a rare mid-week match at GP Trinidad stadium. Two teams that know each other very well in a tough game with many cards in which all the three goals of the match happened in a span of just 5 minutes right after the beginning of the second half. Sporting went up first, just a minute later RCA evened up, and a few minutes later got the winning goal by Jean Claude Farro. RCA took all three points in the end but the “new kid on the block” should keep its head high as they (Sporting) also had their clear chances for scoring but managed to squander these opportunities, including a crucial missed penalty at ’80, a big chance to draw even with the “tricolores”. Jean Marc Antersijn (GK, many good saves) and Camilo Romero were the bright spots for Sporting, and for RCA we have to mention Jean Pierre Fingal for his work-rate and Roan Petronia for his leadership. RCA with this win is now in 4th place with 6 points and Sporting stays in 7th with 3 points.
